Rescue crews have freed a man who was trapped down a sewage drain in southeast Melbourne.
The Metropolitan Fire Brigade was called just after 8.30am on Monday to the drain at Lower Dandenong Road, Mentone.
“Specialists from MFB’s high angle rescue team devised a plan to safely remove the individual,” a statement said, confirming that man was removed and taken into the care of paramedics just before 10am.
